Just smoothing out wrinkles on the website! Don't forget to check our up-to-date calender. And many thanks to our secretary, Greg, who tries his best in keeping you informed.
We began a weekly time for the children to come for a time of fun, games, fellowship, music and Christian Education. It is being held each Monday evening, 6:30—7:30 pm. We are taking a journey through the Lord’s Prayer. Please pass the word. And, as with Vacation Bible School, your help, encouragement and prayers for this project are appreciated.
We had a GREAT time with a very successful Vacation Bible School program. It was enjoyed by all the adults and children that attended. On Sunday, Aug. 11, the children performed some of the music they learned during VBS. Later during a time of fellowship showed off some of the crafts they made and games they had played. This Worship service was video recorded and will hopefully be available on DVD soon.
Great first night of VBS. Thanks to all who attended and those who helped in any way.
Though it's been a month since this site was updated, our congregation has been anything but absent! We have one worship service recorded and posted on YouTube.
Another one is on the way! With better sound, honest. Plans are coming together for the third, in which will be better sound plus video!
We welcome our newest sons and daughters of God since this past Sunday. We wish them and their families a prosperous and healthy future.
Just as we continue to have our doors open; we will continue to Live Lutheran.
Our calendar is updated up to July! If I happen to forgotten something, please, don't hesitate to throw a comment right there on that page.
~NOTE: Birthdays and Anniversaries will not be posted on the calender because of privacy concerns. Please refer to the Newsletter for them. But from everybody at St. Luke's; we wish you a very Happy Birthday and a loving Anniversary to you all!
Our sincerest empathies and prayers from our congregation in Sunbury, to Moore and all those effected to the recent tornado devastation.
Our secretaries updated our Facebook! WOOT!
But we love them, right?
Thank you to all who help keep this humble church running.... yes, including our diligant secretaries!
